"Tucked within the Wiltshire countryside, our 300-year old former coaching inn is situated in the beautiful village of Ramsbury. Inside The Bell is the perfect combination of rustic charm and modern sophistication. With spectacular oak beams complemented by spacious, light and welcoming areas as well as boutique guest rooms where you can relax and enjoy your stay with us.Whether it’s a lunchtime stop or a weekend getaway, you’ll find a welcome and friendly atmosphere throughout, as you will in the village too. Our menus are updated regularly, using produce from our very own kitchen garden, local meat and game and even the drinks from our bar are as local as can be, with our own brewery and distillery but a few miles away."

Loved this place - food was delicious, team knowledgeable so able to guide us well on our choices. Service was quick and efficient. Portion sizes for me were perfect as they left just enough of a gap for another course, if you wanted. Would definitely recommend.
Have eaten here a few times, absolutely amazing especially if you are celiac. Gluten free choices are very good, best pizza I’ve ever had. There is even GF desserts. Excellent service and lovely atmosphere. Dietary restrictions: Celiac friendly
Great pub with good selection of quality beers. Excellent food & good on allergens we needed GF. Must book to avoid disapointment. Well placed for a 5 mile country walk to Littlecote Roman villa mosaic.Food: 5/5
Food was excellent. All diners in our group were blown away with all the courses we had. A good variety to choose from. Not the cheapest but we will be back.Food: 5/5
An excellent country pub. The fact that they make their own ales and spirits is widely known and should be reason alone for coming here. The quality of the cooking, the cheerful and attentive young staff, the stunning village location and heritage building are the cherry on top. The food is mostly very good to excellent, value for money is also quite good. The slight let down was the cauliflower steak which wasn’t hearty enough to grace the center of the roast lunch plate. Pictured are the nut roast and cauliflower steak roasts and the fish & chips.
I have been to the venue a few times and had good visits, good food lovely atmosphereFood: 4/5
Visited from January 29th 2022 through to January 3rd 2023. Hospitality is their business, but unlike many restaurants, hotels, pubs and motels that I've visited on my travels here and abroad, this place goes the extra mile where 'hospitality' is concerned. Firstly, it is a well appointed country inn. It has a modern touch without losing the charm and character of it's 300 year old history. It's set in the small English village of Ramsbury, Wiltshire, and is well established in the local community. Many locals visit with their dogs and that alone was a joy to behold. Dogs, after all, have shared our lives for thousands of years. The food was exquisite. Piping hot, on hot plates. Presentation, excellent. Taste, excellent. Indeed, there were "sparks of joy on my taste buds!" I had two different rooms due to my request for an extension. Both rooms, clean, charming, lots of towels, a couple of bathrobes, plenty of soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Tea and coffee making facilities, bottles of still and sparkling water. My 2nd room was huge, and very comfortable, as was the first. The beds, wonderful. There were original beams in my second room. Now the staff. I hope they will forgive any incorrect spelling of their names. The hospitality sector is run by hard working individuals who - especially in this case - work hard to make every effort to address your needs; even those that 'one' may not push forward, but they took the trouble to notice and fulfill. As such, they are 'people' with names, and I want to give each one a high five, and name them. Cameron and Chloe who helped check me in. Liz the manager - you deserve your 2 week break - by the time this is printed, I hope it was a good one. Jess, Izzy, Rosy, Ellie, Mia, Zack, waitress and bar staff, James the chef, Sheryl housekeeping. You all went above and beyond the call of duty. I live in the States, and was so glad to "rest my jets" as they say, before my long journey home. "You are all Awesome Doggies" US saying, " Good Eggs!" British. Thank you!
Lovely pub with local brewery beers and good food available. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.Service: 5/5
