Country house style Hotel. We had very good room, only a little odd by having no wardrobe. Bar and restaurant were good, although I slightly query value for money for dinner. I noted particularly that ALL the staff were great... friendly, helpful and always looking out to assist.. Recommended.

Granted, this was partly our fault, but we went away a little disappointed from a lunchtime visit. We ordered two nice-sounding pies at £9 each, but were somewhat surprised to find that when these came, they were just that - two pies with nothing else. Not even a little garnish to make it look complete. We almost waited to be told that this was all we ordered. Very nice pies, but we would have expected to have been asked whether we'd like something else to go with them but we weren't. Therefore a bit disappointed.

We had a lovely meal here with kids. Food was excellent and wine fairly priced given the quality. Attentive and knowledgable staff.

Good parking. Very friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere in beautiful surroundings great service. Delicious meal.

We only went for a pint. We were saved by their lovely staff and sat in their lovely garden. We’ll be going back, that’s for sure
