Top notch. Requested a quieter area as all guests 6 over 70 years. Seated in a perfect place in the lower bar. First time for Sunday roast which all guests had either beef or pork. Universally agreed meal was first class and well presented. Attentive and efficient waiter/waitress service. Would definitely recommend and return.
The decor, location and politeness of staff all good, as was the food. However we were surprised that at lunch time in half term, the place was practically empty...hence no atmosphere. Considering there was only one other table occupied in the restaurant the service, mainly of drinks, was SO SLOW! We waited ages for 4 drinks to arrive, despite being able to see the bar where it seemed nothing was happening. I would be concerned to see what would happen if the restaurant was full!!
Unfortunately, 2 of our friends had hairs in their main course 1 fish and 1 pie. We were reimbursed for these 2 main course and given 2 free puddings. A real shame as the food was otherwise tasty. They did apologise but we were definitely put off as we are locals and would have loved to come back.
We are always on look out for decent pubs and randomly came across The Mill Haslemere. We're greated by a really nice barman who took our orders and gave us all the information we needed! Even said he find us a table on a busy Sunday afternoon. We decided on the outside area in the end. Food was great, quick friendly service and even used the app to order more drinks! All in all a really good experience and will definitely return.
Came for a food and drinking with other half the food and service was brilliant. Our waitress Izzy was very attentive and welcoming on top of the incredible food it made for an excellent evening. Can not recommend more highly.
