Great pub in the centre of Tavistock. Lovely Sunday roast, with delicious pudding and custard. We went as a large family group, we were able to book tables and had a corner of the pub to ourselves. Really friendly welcome and service. Throughly recommend, thank you

One of the best pubs that I've ever been fortunate enough to visit. The landlord is friendly, amazingly so, it's really remarkable the staff are all friendly, the decor is brilliant. Food follows this pattern and is reasonably priced, but great quality. Seriously, if you have the opportunity, visit this pub! We frequently travel to Tavistock just to visit the pub

Stayed Wed and Thursday this week. Excellent stay. Room well appointed. Clean and everything you need in a B & B. Shower was excellent. Pub food was well cooked. The Chilli Con Carne was superb. Host and hostess were most welcoming. Local clients also sociable. Many thanks. Highly recommended and if in that area again. I know where I am stay - The Tavistock Inn. Thank you.
Serves a great pint and now does food deals too. Sky sports too. Has an alleyway outside the pub if you want to drink outside although it is a bit grubby and could do with a sweep of all the fag butts!
Just wow, you could spend hours exploring this place. It's so quirky and interesting. The owner was amazingly friendly and as they are currently not serving food was kind enough to let us get some Cornish pasties from a nearby cafewhich were also amazing! And let us eat them which we sat outside having a drink.
