We stopped in briefly as we were walking into Tavistock. We did plan to eat, but it was out of serving hours. No problem, it was only around 3:00pm so we did wonder if we would be able to - we'll come back again some other time. We had a pleasant chat with the girl behind the bar, who was happy to recommend somewhere else to eat in Tavistock a bit later. Nice friendly pub.

Great atmospheric pub,good ales and food.The all day breakfast is tasty and substantial.Old beams and log fire comfort.

Really appreciate dog friendly pub. Bo also appreciated it . Good portions, served by the lovely Tilley and colleague. All very friendly. Food came very quick. Nice atmosphere. Probably due to being with cracking friends. Good pub grub.
