Gorgeous food with inventive Sunday menu and lovely presentation. Good friendly service. Not cheap, but lunch was so good that I didn't feel I'd overpaid. Comfy seating. The place fills up quickly so I would advise booking. Bar area is separate from the two dining areas. Reasonably comfortable and supportive seats. Charming building. Decent toilets. Small car park to the rear for approx. 10 cars, but Tavistock has many good value car parks 10 minute walk away, so not a major problem.

Had Sunday lunch at The Cornish Arms today (Sunday 7th January 2018) The staff, their sevice and the meal itself was of a very high standard. If you are looking for fine dining there is no better place to eat in Tavistock than The Cornish Arms.

Very nice menu, lovely pub with a roaring fire just right for a cold, wet day. Friendly staff and service
