Had lunch here the other day. Fantastic food and staff. My husband had fish and chips and said the fish was lovely and white and very fresh. I had the steak and ale pie and chips, the pie was full to the brim with steak and was so tender. Gravy was very tasty too, no gravy granules there. 
Will definitely go back there again on our next visit to Tavy.

Good food nicely cooked and all local produce. Service is quick and brought to the table. Not a large pub so best to reserve a table before you go. No car park but plenty of parking in road, please honour private houses own parking, best not park in front of  the house's

Good village pub next to the parish church selling great real ales and food. Pleasant atmosphere with warming wood fired and friendly staff.

Popped in for a pint this evening on my way home after work, on arrival we were completely ignored by the barmaid she carried on offering the locals drinks and didn’t even acknowledge that we were waiting. After offering drinks to the 3rd set of locals sat at the bar, one of the other locals said to the barmaid I think these gentlemen are next. We were made to feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. I will not be drinking in this pub again.
