The warmest welcome from wonderful hosts. We return time after time to this delightful little pub. Warm comfortable rooms, a breakfast second to none and a great pint of ale. Fabulous menu on offer for dinner, always local produce served and it shows. Keith and Mandy are truly lovely people, nothing seems too much for them. We love this little gem.
Visited Whitby with my Dad and Sister a few months ago and we had our evening meal here as it was close to the holiday home we were staying in. The owners were incredibly friendly and had loads of information to share about the area. The food was beautiful and the whole place was so cosy and peaceful, with a fire burning in the hearth and traditional brass decorations. We had lots of friendly conversation at the bar and we all left feeling really cheerful and full to bursting. If you're looking for tasty food with decent portion sizes and a relaxing, friendly environment then look no further.
This place is amazing. The food was excellent and plentiful. The location was perfect and picturesque. The rooms were nice and comfy. And most of all the service was excellent the hosts could not do enough for us. Thank you Beehive Inn you made our weekend away with friends very special.Rooms: 5/5
Well it's not open. I can only asume it's permanently closed. I've tried to visit on four separate occasions and not once has it been open. There is no answer on the phone but there website doesn't mention anything about being shut. It seems a shame as it looks like a lovely building and is the only pub in the village. I would not waste you time trying to go. If it does reopen I'll amend the review to reflect this fact.
Just spent a lovely weekend in whitby at The Beehive Inne, excellent hosts in Keith and Mandy not forgetting Rosie the dog too. Food was fabulous, Mandy a great cook, room was spotless, bar convivial and cosy. Keith is a mine of information and hell of a storyteller. Thanks for a great weekend. Bill & Tracey Knowles. Great welcome from Mandy and Keith. Lovely breakfast and evening meals. Nothing too much trouble. If you want a quiet break this is the perfect place. Will stay there again
Gorgeously quaint BnB, with charming hosts and fabulous breakfasts! Thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay with Keith and Mandy!
I think this is more a b+b than a pub. A traditional historic country Inn in a small village. Very nice oldie worlde pub, friendly landlord but hit and miss whether it's open or not. Limited beer selection unless you don't mind bottles.

Can't believe how rude the woman was who owns it, I've never felt so un-welcome somewhere in my life. I'd avoid this place if you're thinking of going.
