The Harvester is one of those places that looks alright and does the job but is hardly going to wow. I'll start with the positive for our booking. First and foremost, the staff are wonderful. Friendly, helpful and great with young kids. The restaurant is easy to find, has ample parking on site which is free once registering your reg in the terminal. The decor is in good order and feels clean and there is plenty of space for large groups, of which we had. The food is where things slide a little. It's not all bad, just very inconsistent. For instance the burgers were rock hard and quite tasteless. It felt like they were bought frozen in bulk and reheated. Same for the veg, it didn't taste fresh and the jacket potato I suspect just microwaved. On the other hand the steak was surprisingly good. Not too much fat and having asked for a medium, I got just that. All in all, if you don't go in with high expectations for the food then you're going to be fine. The service is good and for a meal where there are a lot of you including noisy kids, it's a decent option.
Went out for a friend's birthday, good food but bread roll was cold and hard unlike before warm and soft. Main meal was tasty and great.. Will go again hopefully bread roll will be soft and warm Kid-friendliness: I dont think is very kids friendly.
Food is okay, breakfast was what we had, sausages were quite burnt, but seeing as this place does grill it is somewhat different from other cafes although not to my taste. And no tea with break fast....separate charge, a minus in my books. Tried once won't be returning.Food: 2/5
Went for Breakfast with Santa here on Xmas eve to treat my child. The English breakfast at Harvester was as always very nice, the staff here are very friendly and courteous. The service is quick and efficient. The best part however were the decorations and the special audience with the Santa, really very well arranged, my little one enjoyed it thoroughly. The Xmas gift bag to kids from Santa was an icing on the cake! Keep up the good job Harvester, great to have you locally. Thank you!
We had tapas, very tasty, just the right amount for a late lunch which gave us room for chocolate banana waffles dessert which was delicious, large portion, ample enough to share. Our waitress was very pleasant & brought our order quickly. She also sorted out our booking for Christmas Day lunch at the Beehive. Would recomend Harvester for nice food & fab atmosphere.
Vast menu here, so much to choose from. Great for lunch, dinner or just drinks. Suitable for small groups and large alike. Friendly and helpful staff, wheelchair accessible with disabled bays and an accessible bathroom on site.Food: 3/5
Okay service was good. The food was cold so we sent it back for fresh food. The salad bar is awesome. The cheesecake was horrible. Chocolate cake was good thoughFood: 3/5
I have been coming here for many years. It’s always a go to and I always have a nice meal. The staff are friendly and it is a reasonable price. Cannot go wrong with a Harvester for dinner.Recommended dishesUnlimited Salad
It was our first visit for my birthday. It was nice surroundings and the food was first class as was the service. It was the best spare ribs we have ever had. I would like to have seen more choice on the set menu for deserts as I am diabetic. Parking: Easy to park and short distance to walk
The food was really good. The waitress was very pleasant with a great sense of humor. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Which all added to a very pleasant meal and all round experience.Food: 5/5
