Was taken here for my birthday. We decided to order lots of tapas type starters, including the Mediterranean platter. Food was delicious. I would be hard pressed to pick a favourite. The arancini balls were probably one of the best I have had. Even the fritters were great. The burrata was very fresh. It was like an indoor picnic. I had the non alcoholic elderflower cocktail, which was really refreshing and enjoyable. We were only supposed to have the table for a little over an hour but we were there for about 3 hours. The staff didn't rush us or try to make us feel uncomfortable for outstaying out time slot. I would also highly recommend the lunchtime pizzete. It's a good sized portion, delicious and excellent value. If more people knew about it they would go for lunch there.
Takes an hour for mains to arrive which is strange considering they do not season their food. No salt, pepper, parsley, chilli or even any sauce to go with linguine. They did provide parmesan cheese which helped a little. Service was extremely slow even though it wasn't busy. Had to ask waiter three times for the coke. If you like bland food and slow service definitely the place to visit. However if you like authentic Italian, definitely try Piccolo which is opposite
Felt like we were on holiday experiencing an incredible Italian meal! Lovely, attentive staff, this place is a gorgeous spot for a date or family gathering
We had delish pizzas, service and atmosphere. Will return Vegetarian options: Lots of veg options Kid-friendliness: High chairs and kid portions
Having been to this restaurant a few times and always enjoying it, last night was severely disappointing. The food was mediocre but the service was awful. The waiter walked past our table 4 times, looked at the full table of dirty glasses and plates and left it as was, so did the other 2 staff members. If the 3 staff on duty weren't chatting by the bar they were either engaged in their phones or specifically chatting with one particular family. Not sure if the restaurant is under new management or they struggled to find staff for last night, but it was not worth the money we spent. Unfortunately won't be going back.
Tasty food but restaurant is run down and scruffy. Only 1 vegan starter but kitchen refused request to have small version of salad instead. Easy request when not busy so strange one to refuse. Overall felt a bit complacent - a shame given the potential.
Fresh made quality pizza. Temderstem broccoli was stir fried with chill and garlic butter, very tasty. Wish they had more vegetables on spicy chorizo pizza though. Good for quick lunch.
Order two sharing boards as starters then pizza's to follow. Boards came quickly but unfortunately there was a long wait for the pizza's. Service team were very apologetic but still took an age to get the second course. However, despite the long wait the food was good.Food: 5/5
Made the mistake of visiting on a Saturday lunchtime when there were children's birthday parties booked. Extremely noisy and busy so service was slow. With regards to food, the platters, both veg and meat were very good value, but my friend had a slightly burnt pizza and the anchovies on mine had not been washed so were extremely salty. Perhaps on another day everything would have been good and it certainly looked the place for birthday parties. Vegetarian options: Both vegetarian and vegan options available. Kid-friendliness: Seemed to be good for birthday parties.
I had a really pleasant evening with my friends and family whilst enjoying great food and vibes. The staff were amazing, Joe behind the bar, Marci and Natalia on the floor with the banter and great service, 10/10 would highly recommend this place for anyone that enjoys Italian food and a cosy environment with music and vibes and great staff!
