It's a standard Beefeater, very bright and airy. The Food appears to be ordered in and then cooked rather than freshly made there and then and cooked, but it's okay for what it is. If you are going during term time it's fairly fast service, but during the school holidays it can get extremely busy, and the quality goes down hill very easily as it gets lots of trade from the theme park next door. The bar is offers a good range of ale and larger which is to it's advantage. It's great for a couple of drinks and bar food.

Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience - it was a Friday night, wasn't overly busy. We were sat down by a very unenthusiastic waitress, weren't offered a drink and wasn't very happy to answer a question we had - we sat and waited a good 10 minutes before anyone offered a drink, it was then another 10 minutes before we received our drinks at which point we made sure we ordered our food very quickly, we didn't wait too long for the food but we made sure we ordered another drink whilst the waitress was around. The staff seemed to be milling about not doing anything, chatting amongst themselves rather than serving anyone, we would have certainly ordered another couple of drinks if anyone was around. We ordered some more of the unlimited triple cooked chips - these never came but they were put on the menu (not charged for them as they were free) we got our bill and left. It's a shame because the food is usually pretty reasonable quality but the prices are actually quite high! If the staff were more attentive it would be a much more enjoyable experience.

Birthday celebration with 14 at a long table great service and food. Staff were friendly and patience when taking the orders. They were happy to to bring the lighted birthday cakes that we had bought in to the table. We had a lovely family get together

It is a nice looking pub however the food is not very good. The chicken in the mixed grill is dry, the steak in the mixed grill was 50% gristle and the sausages were cheap as they come. I also had a burger which looked very nice but it had plastic in. May have been the patty separator or cling film. I was offered a full refund. So in short the staff are friendly and attentive but the food let's this place down massively. Great shame.

Have a dads breakfast here every now and then with a friend and his kids, it's great value as the kids eat for free. The breakfast is buffet style all you can eat. The restaurant is nice and open with lots is space, it's comfortable and clean and the food is good quality.
