I had a great lunch here. A pasta with duck (it was excellent), a glass of house wine and a double espresso— all under 20 pounds including the fast and efficient service. Like in many places in London (but not in Leatherhead), the service was already added to the bill, which is very convenient. Will definitely come here again.

For the price if the food the value of the dish is great. You can tell they put time and effort Into the service they provide. Staff appear a little shy but that could just be related to the busy atmosphere more than anything. Would and have recommended to others.

The food was very decent and so was the portion sizes. The reason why I am not rating this restaurant higher is because of terrible business practice of charging 10% service fee at the end of your bill. There is no justification to impose a service charge, it makes me sick some restaurants adopt this. I’m much rather give you tips if I like the service provided I don’t like to have it imposed (doesn’t matter if you put a notice on the bottom of your menu). I feel strongly against this practice, which in my point of view is irrational. Costumers who spend the most are punished by paying an extra 10% this is abusive and wrong. I make a point of never coming back to such establishments. (even if I liked the food, which is a real shame but there are many other restaurants to go to.)
