Story

Woodlands Park Hotel in Surrey, near Leatherhead and Cobham, was originally commissioned by English industrialist William Bryant, son of the founder of the match company Bryant and May. Built in 1885, the house was a modern marvel and one of the first in the UK to have electric light. Over a century on, the house remains as impressive as ever.

Situated near to Cobham and within easy access of London, this 57 bedroom hotel is set in beautifully landscaped grounds and gardens, making our hotel one of the most perfect wedding venues in Surrey. Offering a range of Executive and Family bedrooms and suites, Woodlands Park has a range of bedrooms to suit everyone.
The hotel offers two great restaurants, the wood-panelled Oak Room Restaurant and the more contemporary Brasserie.

Woodlands Park Hotel also boasts excellent conference facilities and offers the perfect training and meeting venue.

I'm a regular at Woodlands Park hotel. I'm never been let down by the place. I took a few of my friends for afternoon tea as the location has a beautiful setting. We arrived a little early and the staff were very polite and welcoming. We decided to have tea in the reception area, as it was cold and they had a lovely warm fire going. Our group were very impressed with the location and the reception area. Our tea was lovely and the food is delicious. The staff constantly checked on us and constantly brought out warm pots of tea. Highly recommended the location.

Booked a meal for two here on a Sunday excellent service and pretty good food. Ambience of the place good service impressive staff attentive..would recommend. A family friend has booked the place for a wedding reception later this year. A good setting for the same . We have not stayed in the hotel itself but the rooms look nice and the facilities also look good..very close to Cobham the A3 and M25

I've read mixed reviews about the hotel and especially the restaurant, but I can't say I can confirm those. The rooms are decent and look nice enough. The entire place looks very nice. The restaurant was great. The staff was friendly and service was quick. Food was on the table quickly and was great quality. Reading the other reviews it feels like they describe a different place. Thumbs up for improving the place I guess. My only minor complaints are that the breakfast area is a bit too hot for my liking and that the staff did not point out you could order breakfast from the menu. This had me a bit confused and eating only from the breakfast buffet. Once I figured this out I ordered and the quality was great (poached eggs with avocado). Again other reviews seem to describe a different kitchen. In the end I had a lovely stay.

Very impressive. Staff we spoke with were very, very helpful. Jacob, Csaba and Susie on reception. It is my Mothers funeral wake tomorrow, in the Sitting Room. My brother and I are delighted with everything. We know it will be a grand send off for her ☺☺

Kind of old world British. Nice but slightly creaky. The big surprise was zero ales on tap! It's also quite out in the country. I'm here for an off-site, so some of the point is isolation. But the nearest town is a mile away, and the country road has no sidewalk.
