The menu prices are not clear and intended to mislead the guest. We were charged £ 5.00 extra than the price stated on the menu for 2 lasagne. Also they only do pizza on Sundays. When the bill arrived we were charged £5.00 more than expected. It seems we were charged £2.50 extra per lasagne. When we queried this, the waiter told us that there is a surcharge of £ 2.50 when you have lasagne as a main course. It is written at the very bottom of the page. With no asterix next to the lasagne price to alert to a surcharge. Secondly since when is a lasagne anything but a main course. Lasagne was listed under pasta not starters. Thirdly, if this was indeed a 'starter' price why did the waiter not ask us when we ordered , whether we wanted a lasagne starter or as a main course. Fourthly the waiter insisted it was clear and it was my fault because I did not read every page of the menu. Only when I wanted to take a photo of the misleading menu price was I told by the waiter not to take a photo. Another waitress then came over and agreed to take the £5.00 of the menu. It is only £ 5.00 but the principal of deliberately misleading clients and then telling a client I am need to read everything on the menu, leaves a bad taste in your mouth. So the staff are obnoxious rude and they a trying to get extra from customers in a devious way. Make your menus clearer andcharge £2 50 more for a lasagne but don't do it this way. I will never be back.

This place is a gem! Great menu and good wine. The fillet with mushrooms was something else. Very personable service. And; food was properly hot when served. We are definitely going back.
