A really friendly welcome. The facilities were clean and well kept, except for the showers which could have had more pressure and cleaner floors given that they cost an extra £1 for 4 minutes.
The views are stunning and footpaths lead off the site in all directions, allowing easy access to Offa's Dyke, the River Wye and Tintern Abbey. We didn't need to drive at all.

There are also fire pits for all pitches. Loved our stay, even though it rained almost all the time.

Amazing site. With views to die for. Lovely walks in every direction. Good facilities. Lovely people who own it too.

Genuinely lovely people running this site, good amenities and views/walks. Above all, staff are great, a warm welcome really helps after a long drive.

Really one of the best traditional campsites I've ever been to. Simple and well kept with lovely views.

Great site to visit with a dog, plenty of dog friendly Cadw sites around and plenty of woodland walks. Nice big pitches with some fantastic views, sunsets and sunrises. Great butcher in Tutshill for all your bbq needs. My only complaint is the showers are set at lobster boiling temperature and not adjustable.
