Just dropped into Beech Lodge for a meeting with the manager Anoop and Debbie. Whilst waiting for the meeting I spoke with some relatives whose loved one was resident there. Very good feedback and obviously enjoying the friendly atmosphere in Beech Lodge. It's great when you experience care of such a high quality that those around the person can speak appreciatively. I'd say if you are a carer looking for somewhere to work, or indeed need care for a loved one, Beech Lodge is well worth considering. Keep at it Beech Lodge!
My mother spent approximately 8-9 weeks here August - October 2021. We looked carefully into choosing a home but Beech Lodge scored highly and was close to our home.nI was impressed from the start when we looked round the home and all staff said hello, even if they were in another room and could see us through an open door.nI have been extremely happy with the care my mum received. Though Mum didn't initially want to go, the staff soon got her settled. She was treat with kindness, respect and dignity.nVisiting was restricted due to Covid, but in her final week was unrestricted. During her stay I was kept fully up to date with her treatment.nThe staff looked after me too, especially at the end and could not have been more caring. Thank you Beech Lodge, you took away the stress of caring for my mother and allowed us to enjoy a mother / daughter relationship again.
We looked very carefully into a home for our mum and Beech Lodge scored high. It was to be the best decision we could have made. Mum was treated with kindness, respect and dignity at all times. We cannot speak too highly of her care by all staff. Her room was bright and clean and at no time have we found her room or the home having an unpleasant smell. The staff have always been very friendly and nothing has been too much trouble. Mums excellent care continued to the end and respect and dignity continued to be shown to her after she passed away. Beech Lodge is a small home with a big heart.
As a family we were so impressed with the standard of care that my nan recently received. She was always clean and comfortable, All members of staff were polite and caring and treated my nan with great respect and dignity. My nan spent the last 4 weeks of her life at Beech Lodge and the care she received was fabulous. The nurses and carers were exceptional both to my nan but also to us as a family. They supported us through a very difficult time and this enabled our family to be with my nan as she died in a very supportive and peaceful environment. Thank you to everyone at Beech Lodge. My Mum was taken into Beech Lodge in March 2015, firstly for respite as an emergency & then my Dad & I decided that this is the best place for her. Right from the outset, Mum & our family were made to feel very welcome, nothing was or is too much trouble .Lesley the Manager runs the home very efficiently & readily available regarding discussing Mum's care. Beech Lodge has a homely feel, Mum's room is cosy, & we have personalsed it for her. All staff have been & contiune to be extremely caring, kind & very sweet with my Mum, & very friendly & helpful towards Dad & myself. They went the extra mile of picking my Dad up & dropping him back home for the Christmas party! Mum has had a couple of episodes of being unwell & these were dealt with very professionally & effectivley, & I was kept informed at all times, I have utmost confidence in the staff's care & skills. Beech Lodge has consistency in their staff which is really good, & therefore the residents & familes get to know them. I can highly recommend this Nursing home
