We stayed 3 nights. The staff were great. They organised flowere for my gf when I asked so I turned up and they were there waiting. The food was lovely. We ate out in the evenings Fish Shack at Fistral is amazing but ate here at breakfast and lunch which was class. The place is chold friendly, we don't have them or a dog but both were in abundance giving it a real family oriented vibe. The bar staff had a serious amount of knowledge taking time out to teach us about the local wines and whiskys. Super knowledgeable and imparted in a way we loved. The pool was nice, the beach amazing being both dog and child friendly. We found the hot tub pricey, 45pp for an hour but the rest was great.
We have just come back from 4 days at the Bedruthan, and it was beyond beautiful. We stayed in a Sea View Villa - highly recommend for that sense of quiet, easy access to the beach path, and a stones throw from the outdoor pools and spa facilities. We came with a newborn and a 3 year old and there was so much for us to do! The weather was so lovely that we didn't manage to get to do any of the evening activities or crafting but we will have to come back again! It's an incredibly family friendly hotel, the staff can't do enough for you, and Mawgan Porth will take your breath away. The outside of the hotel could do with some TLC, but inside it's beautifully presented. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will return.
I booked this for a treat for my fiancé's birthday. The location is stunning. The staff were super lovely, the service was excellent. Special mention to Ernest who was our host for our wine tasting. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about wines. We had the best time. Thank you so much.
We just visited the hotel for lunch on recommendation from friends. We are out on the terrace overlooking the beach : very sheltered and a lovely place to sit. Food was delicious - the Focaccia with maple bacon was stuffed full and very tasty, and the Burrata salad with avo was very tasty and very fresh. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel looked lovely. Would certainly contemplate a stay here next time!
The hotel's location is fantastic, you can walk directly to the beach from the back door of the room. The food was generally good, but eggs weren't available for breakfast; you have to order them separately for an extra pay. Dinner was much tastier than expected; the seafood and braised pork knuckle were excellent choices. The spa and swimming pool were good overall, but they were not big. Swimming required advance booking, but you could only book on the same day.nThe hotel doesn't provide slippers, and even if you do ask the reception for them, there aren’t any which is very frustrating especially when going to the swimming pool. Don't expect the room to be clean every day, the floor is never clean, the sheets aren't changed, the tea and coffee areas aren't renewed unless you request them. The same applies to the bathroom. No toiletries are provided; the shampoo and shower gel given upon check-in are only enough for one use, and they aren't replaced on the second and third days until you complain. The room lacks tissues, body lotion, hand soap, laundry bags, and of course nearly no Wi-Fi.
