The ultimate 4 star countryside Spa for beauty, health, fitness and relaxation. Our facilities include single and double treatment rooms, a heated infinity pool with panoramic views, aromatherapy steam room, dry sauna, drench showers, a relaxation room, a manicure bar, healthy juice bar, two tennis courts and a fitness suite.
All treatments have been designed exclusively by Aromatherapy Associates; offering pure, simple, natural treatments in line with unspoilt beauty of the Cornwall Estate around you and its original Victorian walled garden. We have treatments designed specifically for men, women, mothers-to-be and teenagers. The girls who did our gel manicure nails for my sister's wedding day were really lovely, very pleasant and chatty. Unfortunately the french manicures came out as a bit of a mess - under my nails were lumps of filings, dried gel etc. The lines of the french tips were wobbly and the pink base coat was only done with one coat, so really see through and started coming off pretty much the next day. My sister's nails fared slightly better (thankfully, she was the bride!) but there were still large portions of her nails at the sides that hadn't been painted. There were other bridesmaids whose nails came out really nicely, but they had had one colour gels rather than french tips. Admittedly, the girls who did our nails did ask if we were happy, but seeing as we had to get on to put hair and makeup on for the ceremony we didn't have time to ask them to fix them up so just agreed and got out sharpish! Would recommend only for single colour manicures, and even then I wish I'd just got them done at home with my regular beauty salon.
