The drinks and food were great, lovely fast service. Just really noisy, screaming and yelling from adults. But apart from that it's a nice place to get food and a drink.Food: 4/5
Horrendous breakfast full of egg shell, stone cold and chips not hash browns. Sent back and still cold breakfast. Staff couldn’t care less. I get it’s just a spoons but I’d expect something edibleFood: 1/5

July 2024 update: past few times we've been here, the drinks always takes ages to come 20 minutes+! IF using the app to order. Advise grabbing your drinks at the bar if you want quick service. Decent place. Been here a few times. Last time my drink didn't come to the table. I went and asked about it when our food arrived.. then someone passed me the drink that had clearly been sitting on the bar since we'd ordered twenty minutes previous.
They certainly know how to run a Beer Festival in here - super efficient service in this enormo-Spoons with excellent ale; pretty handy for the station as well if you find yourself in this part of the city.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel unwelcome by a male team member. He seemed disengaged and looked down on us when we were ordering, which made us feel very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, I have a service dog, and this staff member demanded that I leave immediately upon seeing my service dog. When I requested to speak with a manager about the matter, he spoke to her within earshot of us, and his words were highly unprofessional. We had come for a well-deserved catch-up with family, but this experience was upsetting and far from what we expected from a hospitality establishment. As a result, we will not be returning, and I felt compelled to share my experience in the hope that no other customers have to go through what we did. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and ensure that appropriate actions are taken to improve customer service at your establishment. Thank you for your attention to this serious matter. I look forward to your response
A typical Wetherspoons/Lloyds No.1 pub, close to Leeds station. Didn't have any food, just drinks. Good atmosphere but service a little slow. Reasonably priced drinks.Service: 3/5
A traditional city centre spoons. Can be very busy at peek times . Look out for deals like the beer festivals.Food: 5/5
Visited this typical city centre Spoons with Paulicarus situated in a lovely converted bank. Absolutely mobbed on this visit as Leeds were having their Gay Day parade. Took a few minutes to get served first time but soon emptied out as the parade began and Paulicarus was straight in for pint number two. Excellent real ale selection so check the whole length of the bar. He had a pint of Daleside bitter and Moorhouses Witches Cauldron. Both very good.
