I adore this place a lot. there is a different atmosphere. The cuisine is splendid. the service is dynamic and the stuff is very professional. The price is reasonable. deeply recommend.
Lovely pub. Simple but tasty food and they have a good range of beers. Decent place to be able to hang out with friends although it would be good if they had a few more non alcoholic options. Was very nice of the bar person to point out that the beer I wanted would be almost £14 for a pint!!
Very nice bar, great selection of craft beer and ales. Pints are nice and crisp, you can tell the lines etc are well maintained. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff
Real ale pub with a mixture of hand-pulled and draught beers. Perhaps a tad pricey but good service. Can get particularly busy on weekends. Do take bookings for functions
Great place, amazing selection of real ale and they serve mead too
Lots of tap beers. Some interesting beers in the fridge too. 23 or so cider choices too. Not cheap but between 5pm and 7pm York beers are 3 pounds a pint. Free WiFi.
