Beautiful traditional pub. Lovely atmosphere  altogether Good drinks as well.

Quirky old bar. Ales aren't often to my liking and I don't like the way they have cordoned off an area for eating. Better in the summer when there is ample outside seating

Best pub in leeds for real ale and ciders.  Been going for 20 years and it's always had a good selection of drinks, rarely enough seats  but friendly and efficient staff

When i have a chance i always stop here: food is always really good and the menu changes seasonally. Of course has to be visited because it s the oldest pub in leeds and you'll notice that as soon as you walk in. Very very curios!

Bit too busy for me but can't knock the quality of the service. Staff still managed to be really attentive even when the place was rammed.

Excellent English food - with a suet pastry top on my steak.pie. - and a wide selection of good beers.

Good place to eat hamburger or fish and chips

Just love this place....food, atmosphere & staff are brill.

Love the beers here and decent service. Can sometimes feel a tad cliquey but worth a visit.
