This place could be wonderful. A really nice pub and one of the oldest in Leeds. Unfortunately under Charlie this place is a wreck. Drug addicts in the alleyway and toilets. A terrible shame also a extremely high staff turnover, the landlady is drinking constantly and it's sad to see a once great pub like this.Food: 1/5
Can be a very good atmosphere with well priced drinks. However, depending on who's serving, you may not get served prior to those that have arrived well after you. Unless you are stood right in front of him, it may take some time. Gone are the days of a barman clocking who's next in the order they arrived. Not professional unfortunately and frustrating.
In it's own time & space. Guinness 30% cheaper than most bars in Leeds. Never a dull moment down the Pack!!

Love the place. It does a great quiz on a Thursday, pour a good pint of Guinness and have scampi fries which is a big plus in my opinion!Service: 5/5
Really nice pub inside. They do pieminister food so several veggie and vegan options. I really enjoyed the vegan 'Kevin' pie it was so good. Nice atmosphere inside - we went on a weekday afternoon.
Accessed through a tiny portal OK a ginnal from the heaving broad pedestrian shopping precinct into a cool dark-in-a-nice-way cavern with outdoor seating. It's not pretty, it's essentially an alleyway, but calm and still outside. Good hand pulled ales Taylors Landlord needs no introduction & White rat : pale and sharply hoppy
Tiny ginger angry man behind the bar, tried to give me grey goose instead of standard Smirnoff thought I wouldn’t realise , got very agressive when I told him I didn’t want grey goose. Then said it’s a premium bar you get premium drinks , never been a premium bar in its life. He should probably get a job that isn’t public facing
If you want to save your hearing go somewhere else. Music too loud at 95db average. Went to a quieter corner and it was bearable. But when bought another pint they decided to close off the quieter area. So I went outside except the guard said I can't sit outside with beer, while there's 3 empty tables for what reason? Have to go inside and suffer that high pitched low quality music. Not coming back here if they paid me. Wish I've spent my money elsewhere. Service was ok, no fault there. I feel for the people that have to work there. Their hearing is unquestionably gone by now.
