I usually get good service from beacon but this driver . He has glasses black hair and his cab can fit around 6 people in there and its a cream colour inside. Ive had him many times and hes always so rude , my autistic sister asked to sit in the front as she doesnt feel safe sitting near other people then he screamed at her to go to the back. Other times he blasts music in his car so loud it hurts my ears and drivers recklessly and charges us extra.
Used this company heaps in the past, so I had a degree of trust with them. However trying to organise a taxi for my son to get a coach transfer, they informed me in writing that the booking had been made, however when my son luckily rang to check, they had no record of the booking and furthermore when I called to ask what happened they asked if I had done it correctly. I replied yes, and requested someone contact me using the original message and booking request to inform me about what went wrong. I was assured someone would contact me, that was Tuesday last week...still waiting...at least they got a taxi to my son after he rang.
Awful. Absolutely avoid, I know other companies can be a bit more expensive but it's worth it to avoid the abuse. Driver accused me of breaking his already broken door handle, then hurled a bunch of abuse at me outside the hospital and said he hoped my baby was sick. I'm sure this is the same driver that I had last year, funnily enough also too the hospital, that tried to charge me to much and get me to pay his personal account when my card payment initially failed due to the changes in banking security. Kept snatching my phone out of my hand to put in his payment info into my bank, really intimidating when you're pregnant and have an unwell child in the car too.
Booked a taxi for it to just not turn up, when I called and waited to speak to an operator there was no answer. Caused me to miss my train and run very late for an important job. Won't be relying on them again.
Booked 4 different taxis from Beacon today Christmas Day each taxi was on time, the drivers were all friendly, very reasonable prices, highly recommend
Didn't bother turning up. Called 4 times to book a taxi, never turned up. Had to cancel my days work with the council because I had no way of getting to the yard to pick my wagon up. Cheers beacon, very unreliable automated service, you don't know if your taxi is going to turn up or not. Made me look unreliable to my employer in the process so thanks again beacon, I will not be using again. Never had a problem before
Operator is un professional and called my partner a b**ch on the phone and was not helpful in any kind of manner when we was enquiring where and how long the taxi would be
Absolutely fab firm lads am all polite and helpful very fair price and .safe journey every time .
The way some of the taxi drivers speak to you are terrible..some are talking to families on the phone not professional at all..left me in the middle of the road with all my shopping..wont be using again
Great service,freindly staff,ontime as precooked,nice clean cars
