If you want to be quoted completely different prices for the same journey you make on a regular basis, call Andy's. On more than 3 occasions I've had to question the price of the fare I've been asked for and that's after asking how much it would cost when booking. They have told me it would cost £7 for a journey that normally costs me £5 - Used to be really good and reliable - don't think I'll use again - fed up of constantly getting charged more than I should be! And whenever you call they're always desperate to get you off the phone and once I got cut off as I was trying to explain that I was booking in advance for a later time, the lady who answers is normally ok but the men who answer give the most abrupt and and hurried responses as if they just want your money and hurry you off the phone. So disappointed in them as I used to use them a lot but won't be anymore!
I've been using Andy for almost over 3 yrs and 2 times 2 taxi drivers have tried skanking me yet again. 1 taxi driver was turning his board so I dnt see how much it has come up n tried charging me 4 pound. Another taxi driver was on about its 10 pound no mate u give me change bk I know how much it is on the machine so dnt ever over charge me again. Otherwise I'll be finding a new taxi drivers.
I have been using Andy's for over 5 years i have never had a issue with them, always been on time. And they have pulled me out of some scraps i.e. when i came back from Netherlands and i had no choice to catch a flight to Liverpool take in mind that every train, bus and other service had stopped by the time i had landed. Andy's came and picked me up!! Honestly over the years i couldn't have asked for a better taxi company.
not that good of a taxi firm always late and some very moody and arrogant drivers and some try to even rip you off. but west brom cars is way better in every aspect as they are always there within quoted time and dont overcharge.
Terrible experience, paid for a pick up in West Bromwich and a pick up at dartmouth park to Moseley return. Paid the driver £43 when wearrived for the return. Fine on the way there but on the way back the driver stopped at Dartmouth park and told everyone that if we wanted an extra stop it would cost us £10 more even though we had agreed a price previously. We didn't have the money to pay the extra so the driver made us leave the taxi at Dartmouth Park. I called the office and explained the situation, I could hear the operator onthe phone to the driver and he explained that he should completed the job, however the driver refused and then the operater said there was nothing he could do. Result was 3 young girls having to walk from Dartmouth park to stone cross even though they had paid for a return taxi in advance.
wouldve given a 0 rating rang up after 15 minutes and my taxi hadnt arrived and then put the phone down rang back up and just cancled my taxi and went with a company that could be botherd to turn up
For along time now this company has been awful it doesn’t deserve any stars, terrible base people who don’t send you’re taxi out when you book it they are really rude, they are never on time I booked my taxi for 8.20 it came 25mins later, today just did it for me when the taxi driver drove off with my 7year old child on his own not even looking to see if my husband got into the car with him had to call up Andys for the driver to come back or to even notice that my child was on his own my son told him to stop meny times but he wouldn’t stop he turned around when the base called him what is this are you’re company kidnapping children now, my son was in tears when he came home and now his scared that someone is going to kidnap him we should get the police involved as this taxi driver could of done it on purpose goodness knows what he would of done to my son I’m so angry be carful with you’re children and yourself anything could happen with this company should be investigated by police.
They're almost never on time, even when I'm ordering taxi 4h before. taxi driver couldn't find right place, so went somewhere else. There is all the time problem with this company
Very bad paid return hill top to birmingham never picked us back up waited an hour and half and was told 40mins due to traffic after 3 phone calls got told drivers refused to come till after 6pm due to traffic,why leave us an hour an half and 3 calls before saying this but they soon took return funds when taking us to birmingham.terrible service.
had me waiting out side for 30 minutes rang up told me my taxi hadnt even been dispatched dont bother with this company complete waste of time
