Battersea Power Station is now a shopping and leisure complex, all set inside a very comfortable, well set out spacious environment. The inside is very well laid out with maps on each floor so you know where you are, as I think it would be quite confusing for people on a first visit. There are escalators up to each floor and lifts for people who like yo use them. There are lots of toilets on each level. The restaurants are very varied to suit all tastes. Shops are mainly designer labels, with 'cheaper' shops mainly just outside. There are some really nice breweries just outside, too. There are various interesting things to read and see about the history of the power station and what it was used for after it closed, such as film sets. Outside by the Thames is lovely with seating areas and things to entertain the children. The best part for me was lift 109. Well worth the visit, the views of the city are amazing from the top of the chimney. Unfortunately, it wasn't that clear a day when I went up. I still really enjoyed the experience, though.
I recently visited Battersea Power Station and was thoroughly impressed by the transformation of this iconic landmark. The blend of historic architecture with modern design elements is truly remarkable. The power station has been beautifully restored, maintaining its industrial charm while introducing contemporary features that make it a vibrant destination. The surrounding area is equally impressive, with a variety of shops, restaurants, and cafes that cater to all tastes. The Riverside Walk offers stunning views of the Thames and is a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll. Inside the power station, the retail spaces are well-designed, and the selection of stores is excellent, offering everything from high-end brands to unique boutiques. One of the highlights of my visit was the glass elevator, which offers panoramic views of London from the top of the power station. It’s an experience not to be missed. The entire development is spacious and well-organized, making it easy to navigate despite the crowds. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. Battersea Power Station is a must-visit for both locals and tourists, offering a unique blend of history, shopping, dining, and entertainment. Highly recommended for a day out in London!
Amazing transformation into a huge shopping, dining, activity centre. Really well done & pleasant to walk around. Inside & outside areas & plenty of bars/eateries. Good views on the river. Loved the Bounce Ping Pong bar - beer & interactive ping pong for an hour was fab fun & reasonably priced.
Outstanding place, great place to go for Lunch/Dinner and a good look around all the shops as well. Champagne bar is amazing. They also have a glass lift in one of the funnels which cost £25, and the most amazing thing it pops out the very top and you have a panoramic view of London. Do this when the weather is clear, it's a superb experience. Also what they've done with the architect is truly amazing with some original structures in place still. Good way to lose 3 or 4 hours easily. I decided to give it 4 stars because they still have empty shops awaiting let's.
A very calm, quiet and unique place within the outskirts of London. A cool concept seeing a large brick factory building on the outside but inside is a cinema and designer shops all set to a clean black and white design and mellow lighting. Places to eat and places to sit also as you walk around. A decent way to kill a few hours.
I love how relaxing this place is. I can wonder around the shops in peace without hassle. The architecture is stunning. The service I received in several shops was fantastic and unlike what you get in the West End. The food court was good although I hate QR code menus! I should have gone to one of the restaurants that offer a menu! Overall I would recommend it to anyone but I'd like it to stay as peaceful as it is.
Great place to visit with plenty of designer shops and restaurants. Plus a great food area upstairs where you can order on an app from different food courts delivered to your table and the outside area on river is lovely with some nice restaurants and bars. Can also go up in the chimney breast to see a view of London for a price.
Love love this place. Feels like a pocket of Asia in dusty old London. So modern with lovely lighting and a gorgeous compound. Very obvious that there is a Malaysian touch to the shopping centre no one does shopping malls better than Malaysians!!. Its right next to the Thames as well so its always breezy and lovely place to go at night.
Magnificent restoration and conversion of a 20th Century iconic building. You think it will be good and it exceeds expectations. Surrounded by modern developments and with open space on riverside with eating places on the old wharf. Great range of shops restaurants cinema and Lift 109 experience
The Battersea Power Station and nearby Battersea Park were a late surprise discovery for me. I went there with the family and hope to go back soon to proper explore the area. I recommend viewing a video or two about the history of the area, before you go very interesting viewing / reading.
