Dropped by for an early Sunday lunch - glad that we came in early as the place was filled up with hungry locals (or tourists?) very soon. I ordered a fish and chips (as one always does when visiting Brighton). The batter didn't overpower the fish and the taste of the fish was nicely preserved, it felt like it melted in your mouth - Delicious! :)

Love this pub. Traditional sort of place, like a proper pub. Open fire in the winter. A few places to sit outside if you smoke. Good staff. Service is quick. Oh and the food is nice. Not like traditional pub grub. Have a look at the menu, it is worth it.

Really great pub... friendly staff... although we didn't eat this time the food that was served looked excellent... will return again for some lunch...

Traditional pub with a great atmosphere. Had a wonderful meal with family which rounded off a great day. Highly recommended.
