We didn't book and there was no queue although almost every other time we walked past there was so if you do want to visit I suggest book. We had the garlic bread to share which was nice the Lasagne was substantial and piping hot. Plenty of cheese and meat and enjoyable. The salmon and prawn tagliatelle was good. Reasonable prices and good service.
Fast paced, efficient, very clean restaurant. Rustic yet elegant decor, feels very homey and with a lovely atmosphere. Food is stunning, so fresh and great to have that open kitchen so you can see it being made. We were a table of 6 and had nothing negative to say about anything we ate. Staff are all on the ball, smiley, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Very popular and busy restaurant, if you don’t want to wait in a queue I defo recommend booking. Looking forward to going again.
Definitely my favourite Italian in Liverpool. There is always a queue which is a sign of a good restaurant! But people come and go so never have to wait too long. The food is fantastic, the staff are welcoming and polite and it’s a good old-fashioned Italian restaurant. Everything comes to your table piping hot and fresh and the desserts are fabulous. Highly recommend this restaurant
Amazing staff couldn't do enough. Eventhough the restaurant was very busy the staff didn't make you feel rushed. Beautiful food. I would definitely recommend this fantastic place to eat.
Amazing tasty food, we enjoyed every dish , also what I like is that they have two size dishes. This is real Italian food . Highly recommended. Enjoy your time
the restaurant is so cute and cozy, but so busy. that’s how we knew we were in a good restaurant! the staff was so kind and speedy! i had the best pesto of my life here!!! we also ordered the antipasta “garlic bread.” i already want to go back! when we left the restaurant there was a line down the block!!!! but totally would be worth it to wait
Megan & Alex. The most helpful and insightful members of staff I’ve ever met in any restaurant! Kudos to them their recommendations were fab we loved every bit of our food! Can’t wait to come back. There was a queue but you can see why and we only waited 15 min.
Came here during visit to Liverpool this week. Been past it a few times and always busy. Food was great, had the smaller portions of pasta but enough for lunch. Couldn't finish the pizza but we managed to take home leftovers that they kindly packed. Service was quick and good too, served quickly even though they were full. Cosy atmosphere. Definitely make another visit. Good value.
The place was booked and I’m not surprised as the pizzas were very good. One thing that could be improved is the waiters respond for requests. We’ve waited 25minutes for the bill. During that time we were sitting at the table 4 people. Once we paid and left I saw that a family with two children where eating for a free table our table. So if the waiters moved faster the people wouldn’t stand in the cold.
This is a great value Italian, with a genuine old school vibe. The portions are generous and helpfully all the mains come in two sizes so you can order according to your appetite. You can't book unless you're a party of I think 6 or more. Service was really good in a large party all the meals arriving in time so no one is left hanging. I had the caprese salad. I would have like some fresh basil with it, and the cherry tomatoes weren't the ripest, but that's forgivable in November. I had the Quattro Stagioni de Carne pizza. This has 4 toppings, ham, chicken l, spicy beef and pepperoni. The latter of which I wasn't a fan off but all the other toppings were really good quality and delicious. The ham was a particular highlight. The pizza base was quite bready and lacked a little yeastiness, but it wasn't at all greasy. I would recommend going here, and I would try the lasagna next time, which looked incredible
