Great customer service, starters were fab. The pizza was way to spicy and just greasy not much flavour. My tiramisu was lovely. The bar tender wasn't happy how many managers they employed there over time. Doesn't seem very professional to discuss this around customers.
I decided to pop in for a quick birthday lunch as the zucca salad is one of my favourites. I wish I hadn't. Service was slow while servers stand around doing nothing. My drink was served in a dirty glass that was changed on request. The zucca salad that I've had numerous times for years was bland and had clearly been thrown at the plate. The chicken was precooked from a packet - bland, watery and vile. I put loads of balsamic and salt on the salad to try and get some flavour but gave up. Server didn't say a word taking away my half eaten meal but did bring the bill quickly obviously!!. I didn't complain as I'd already had to ask for the wine glass to be changed and didn't want to spend my birthday lunch complaining. The last time I'd ordered the same dish here it was amazing but today there was clearly a problem. Not sure if I'll be back with the range of restaurants available in the city centre.
Visited Zizzi today & received a great customer service. Wait staff were friendly, attentive & knowledgeable on their menu. We had a minor issue with my partner's meal but the manager came over to speak to us and went above and beyond! Would not hesitate to visit again.
We ate there early evening yesterday. We enjoyed the food and especially pleased with Madalina’s friendly, attentive manner. It helped to make our visit really enjoyable.
It's a lovely Italian restaurant, the food was good, they have a nice variety of food. Vegan and vegetarian food is available. The service was good too. The staff were great and understanding . A peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere. The restaurant would be a great fit for a large group to book for lunch, dinner. The prices are reasonable. It would cost from 12 £ to 25 £ Vegetarian options: There are many vegetarian options
We went today for lunch as we were taking our Daughter to build a bear for her 1st birthday. The man who served was so so friendly and made us feel so welcome! The food was great! Thank you so much for going the extra mile!
Zizzi is a good chain and reliably decent in terms of quality but it's just so expensive these days I can't give it max stars. The portions of starters are no more than a bite or two for 7 or 8 quid. It's nuts. But hey ho, it's central and handy and staff were lovely. Even if a couple beside us had a massive row because someone spilled a bit of wine. Great drama mind you.
Very good, tasty pizza and very god service on a busy Sunday
The food was ok, but we were sat in a position that was like Piccadilly Circus! Staff and customers constantly brushing past us. On the plus side, we were served by Ella, who was lovely and made our visit worthwhile.Food: 3/5
Food took 1 hour 30 min to arrive, we ended up having to get the food in takeaway containers as we were going to be late for another booking elsewhere. Staff then made it out that we were to blame for not telling the chefs we wanted to take out even though that was not our original intention.
