REAL Italian restaurants the kind that you find in Italy are few and far between,  although liverpool does have a handful. And San Carlo is one of them.  The food is delicious, authentic and the portions generous.  You will not come away hungry.  Great service and atmosphere as well.  Highly recommend.

Had a fabulous meal today. Felt very safe with the precautions in place. They don't seem to have removed any tables but lots of screens. Some of the staff did only have masks covering their mouths. Our little girl said WOW the calamari is delicious. Would definitely return. X

Spent the start of many a good night here. Always a good atmosphere. The staff are the best. The food is top quality at reasonable prices and a drinks menu for anyones budget  

Food was lovely waiter was not very friendly everything felt rushed was as everything  we asked him for was an effort for him won't be rushing back

Fantastic food as always.  Been coming for years. But guys £38 for prosecco is way over the top! Keep it sensible please. Your doing yourselves no favours over charging for drinks
