This place was great. Spa area is really nice, rooms are huge! And staff and food were ready nice. I guess some parts are looking a bit dated but perfectly fine. Good value for money.

Great hotel, lots of character and in a great location. Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms and facilities at a very high standard. Will definitely go back.

Stayed for a weekend break and had a fabulous time. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Food is excellent and the area is well placed to explore Worcestershire

Not 4 star service While the staff are friendly they do not offer a quality service. Asked for a table in bar area to be cleaned and a girl brushed all the crumbs on the floor and Said there you go ! Had to ask for sugar to go with our coffee Bar man brought it over then sneezed all over it and walked off ! Bar staff could be heard out the back of the bar moaning about working here. We could see a girl being wrapped up in cling film by other members of staff in room behind the bar.. ! Restaurant staff , while friendly had no idea on how to serve a table. Male waiter served a plate of food with one hand tucked down the back of his pants ! We sat on same table for breakfast that we sat at for dinner , the dirty knife that was on the floor under the table then was still there. Dirty cutlery on table at breakfast I could go on and on.......... If you enjoy good service then this is not the place for you. It's laughable it's that bad. Sorry guys but I have to say it as it was

I booked this hotel purely because of the swimming pool and having 2 boys aged 9 and 10 who love swimming. I was most put off by the way we were told that the boys were only allowed to use the pool until 10am and between 4pm and 6pm - basically at breakfast times and evening meal times! I asked the hotel receptionist where it said this on the hotels websites (plural) and after extensively looking herself, she said that either she couldn't find it or it wasn't on there! On this basis I found this a family unfriendly hotel. In addition to this, I was charged for the childrens breakfast. Something I have never had to pay when staying in a BW hotel. I've always only ever paid for adults. I also had to wait over 10 minutes for the bacon and sausages to be brought out to the buffet trays. I was told 5, yes five, times by different members of staff that they were 'bringing the food out now' only to have to keep on waiting!
