The Badgers is a privately owned freehouse nestled in the heart of the South Downs.

Story

The Badgers pub is situated just outside the historic market town of Petworth. It is set in the heart of the beautiful West Sussex countryside and nestled close under the South Downs. Badgers is a privately owned free house with accommodation. Badgers is run by Jules Arlette, the proprietor, along with her hard working and friendly staff. As well as a fine restaurant, there are three double rooms for those wishing to stay.

Lovely quaint little pub with helpful bar staff and a good selection of soft and alcoholic beverages, parking can be awkward when busy but easily over come with a little walk from the old Petworth station

Nice free house but disappointingly only Doombar and Young's bitter. Lovely open log fire. Didn't eat but seems to be very popular as many diners for lunch.

My Husband and I had a wonderful New Year at this lovely homely Inn in 2017, It was such a pleasant surprise,the food was excellent our room was gorgeous, two coal fires and lovely decor. Jules is like a friend so kind and all the locals so welcoming. We recommend this Inn or even just for a drink and a meal.
