I've been here a few times before and didn't have anything good or bad to say, but me and my partner went in today to purchase a cutlery set and a cutlery drawer organiser, we were ID'd at the till, I was the one making the purchase and i had my ID but we were forced to walk back to the center of netherfield less than an hour before closing to grab my partners ID despite the fact that that same woman has served him alcohol before and seen his ID, I'm 4 months pregnant and the walk exhausted me to the point I threw up since we had to be quick to make it back before closing. To make matters worse when we returned to the store, we were served by another woman who was incredibly rude, I had my hands full and was trying to sort out my change so I pinched the £10 note I had between my lips and the woman demanded I give her a different note, as if she wasn't going to sell me the product if I didn't have another note. We then asked for the names of the staff who we'd spoken to so we could file a complaint due to their rude behaviour but we were refused. If they'd all been polite about it we wouldn't have minded, but the condescending tones and rude looks we were recieveing were ridiculous. Well be going to castle marina next time.
Great store with great selection of products.nThey lose a star as they always have the same 3 slowest cashiers on who could not give a hoot about thier job.nFor goodness sake, give these people a red bull or something!
Went into B&M at Victoria Retail park at 14.19pm today 17/4/2024 went to the check out the sales assistant looked miserable putting hand cream on her hands, she didn't look up for awhile never spoke to me then had the nerve to charge me 25p for a bag, which if she had looked when I got to the checkout she would have seen that I had bought my own B&M bag with me, where has customer service gone these days
Wide range of products. Competitive pricing. Easy shop to navigate. Everything is clearly marked. Staff friendly and helpful, but not untrusive. Overall a nice few hours, with some lovely items purchased
Good selection of items, staff friendly ish but maybe need to be reminded at times to smile
