Tomas and Jeremy have such a lovely place, that’s not only super cute but they as hosts make your stay extra special. They’re both extremely knowledgeable about the area, put on some amazing breakfasts with so many lovely touches, and keep such a wonderful place. We stayed over the Easter weekend and couldn’t have asked for more!
My fiancée and I had a lovely stay at Aviemore over the NYE weekend. Jeremy and Tomas were such thoughtful and attentive hosts. The room had little welcome sweets & chocolates, tea & coffee, as well as both regular & homemade oat milk, we thought that was a really nice touch. They were more than happy to provide detailed recommendations for pubs, restaurants, sights and things to do and also put on a fantastic breakfast both mornings we were there with a lot of variety including homemade cereals, butters, breads, sauces, preserves, dried fruits and juices I’m sure I’m forgetting some things on top of the amazing cooked breakfast. Amazing attention to detail! The accommodation itself was very homey, clean and unique - we loved the decor and all the Czech inspired details. Close walking distance to everything. %100 recommend and would go back in a heartbeat.
My husband Paul and I had a wonderful 3-night stay at the Aviemore Guest House in August. We fell in love with the decor and the welcoming, serene atmosphere the moment we walked through the door. Our gorgeous room/suite at the top of the house was meticulously clean, thoughtfully appointed, and very comfortable. The breakfasts served in the lovely bright private dining rooms were sublime - beautifully prepared, fresh and delicious. We were so impressed by the professionalism, care and genuine attentiveness of our hosts, Tomas and Jeremy. Their restaurant recommendations were excellent, and we had three amazing days in and around Rye thanks to their thoughtful suggestions. This was a much-needed break for us and we are so glad we chose the Aviemore. A huge thanks to our fantastic hosts for making it so magical. Walkability: Plenty to do and see in the area without needing a car.
The Aviemore is an absolute gem right in the heart of Rye. The décor and the rooms are so thoroughly stylish and beautiful that you can tell a lot of love and hard work have been poured into every detail. The Aviemore is only a short walk from the rail station and is conveniently located within a short distance from the high street. What really makes this guest house stand out, however, is the hospitality of Jeremy and Tomas. They provided us with lots of good dinner, shopping and walking recommendations, as well as offering the most delicious breakfast during our stay - I very strongly doubt a better breakfast can be found in the city. All in all, the Aviemore provided the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend break in Rye, we cannot thank Jeremy and Tomas enough for how friendly, warm, and helpful they were.
My partner Tom and I had the most WONDERFUL stay at Aviemore Guest House and I came away wanting to plan my next trip back there! Jeremy and Tomas were the most welcoming, warm and all-round excellent hosts who made our stay feel so luxurious yet homely at the same time. The whole guesthouse is decorated beautifully and clearly with so much love and attention to detail. I really appreciated all the small touches, like being given some oat milk for our room and all the lovely complimentary snacks/organic toiletries. The breakfasts were a highlight, SUPER delicious and everything made from scratch which was so impressive. As a vegan, I felt so well catered for and each breakfast felt unique and, again, so well thought through. Jeremy and Tomas gave us so many helpful recommendations of things to do in Rye which made our trip much easier. Also, the cats were lovely and very friendly! Overall, the BEST hosts and the most gorgeous guesthouse I have had the pleasure of visiting. Can't wait to come back.
We loved our stay at Aviemore Guesthouse! Everything there was done with so much love and care - from the beautiful interior to the amazing breakfast, that made us feel like we're in a five star- restaurant. Jeremy and Tomas gave us great advice on how to best explore the beautiful town of Rye and provided some expert recommendations on restaurants, lookouts, walks into nature etc. We felt so well cared for by the two. It was the highlight of our trip!
My partner and I had a wonderful short stay here. Right next to the old town and a great place to relax and chill out. The breakfasts were exquisite with no effort spared to produce a wonderful spread of home-made breads, sauces, fruits Czech dishes and flavourings. Jeremy and Tomas are the most attentive hosts and we felt most welcome and they made our stay in Rye one to remember. Thank you again. Highly Recommended. Rooms: Our room was artfully decorated with 50s furniture and you can tell a lot of care has gone into making their place unique. Food & drinks: Breakfast are superb and a wonder to wake up to and enjoy. So much care goes into making a lovely start to the day.
Lovely little B&B less than a 5 minute walk to the town centre by way of a magical set of garden stairs. Jeremy and Tomáš were wonderful hosts, letting us know about where to book to eat beforehand, and sharing all kinds of tips about what to see and where to go. Who knew Rye had a boutique movie theatre? The breakfasts at Aviemore were the absolute highlight of our stay, though: handmade, with lots of veggie and vegan options, using local ingredients and drawing on traditional Czech recipes. Visually and gastronomically, it was a stunning way to start each day. We also set aside one day to see the beach, which was lovely, going by Camber Castle, and then ending up at the new Discovery Centre by Rye Harbour for a coffee and treat. One last thing to note: We were a bit surprised to find it was on a busy road at rush hour in the front, but the owners have done a very through job of refurbishing and soundproofing the rooms. And once you've checked in, you can use the back stairs to avoid the cars entirely!
Just returned from an amazing stay in Rye and Jeremy and Tomas were the most perfect hosts. Cannot recommend the Aviemore Guesthouse highly enough. Every tiny detail has been thought of, the cleanliness is fantastic and the breakfasts outstanding. A real treat to stay here and both Jeremy and Tomas went out of their way to give us helpful information on where to go and explore and eat. We will definitely return, just love this place. Rooms: Beautiful rooms, very unique and interesting and spotlessly clean. Walkability: Perfect location for centre of Rye and station. Food & drinks: Beautiful breakfasts, so healthy and many homemade products. Truly exceptional. Noteworthy details: Never met hosts more helpful and keen to please. Attention to detail is amazing.
My partner and I absolutely LOVED our stay at Aviemore Guesthouse. The house is amazing, beautifully decorated, and we felt so looked after during our time there. Jeremy and Tomas were such wonderful hosts. They gave us advice on what to do, provided us with maps and even gave us a flask of tea and blanket for our walk around the nature reserve. The breakfasts were a highlight: delicious Czech dishes with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and a smile. Everything has been thought through carefully, from the tasteful decor to the sustainability of the products, etc. We hope to stay here again and highly recommend it to everyone! Rooms: Our room was on the top floor. We slept so well and had our own little living area. There was a sink in our room which we loved and the bathroom had a gorgeous bathtub. Food & drinks: We ate SO well here. The breakfasts were a highlight: delicious Czech dishes with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and a smile.
