Story

Rye Lodge is a small luxury hotel in the heart of historic Rye. The hotel prides itself on customer service, taking care of all those little extras such as champagne and flowers on arrival (by request), dietary needs and bespoke "treat" packages.

The Venetian Leisure Centre offers a pool, spa and sauna for the exclusive use of guests. Room service will bring snacks, lite bites to your room and our award-winning breakfast can be enjoyed in bed if you wish! Perfect for a romantic interlude, special celebration or relaxing short break!

Lovely hotel, staff couldn't do too much for you! The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, the breakfast was lovely and the pool and spa facilities were perfect.

The staff are very helpful and always accommodating, the decor in the rooms is nice and the location in the town is excellent. Could be cheaper, but overall had a very nice visit

Very good and a very tasty breakfast, central to rye, you will not be disappointed, so nice infact we intend to go again around Christmas time

Room was lovely and warm and well equipped. Fantastic breakfast made even better by the staff. The swimming pool and sauna were a great place to relax after our walking. We enjoyed the salt restaurant in the evening.

It would have been 4 stars but two things really disappointed us. One, we were charged for a newspaper delivered to our room, I know this often happens but we were made to believe it was complementary, so not nice to see it on the bill. Two, one of the reasons we chose the hotel was for the "spa" we weren't expecting much but the photos showed a sauna, pool and jacuzzi which all looked very beautiful but the pool was cold and amazingly the jacuzzi was too! When we asked if they could heat it up, we were told "oh no it doesn't heat up, technically it's not a jacuzzi". Apart from that the hotel is lovey but massively overpriced but Rye is an expensive town so understandable. The staff are very friendly apart from the first woman who welcomed us, she was cold and a little rude.
