After being practically whisked to the Automatic on an Xmas meal with work, I was concerned that due to our party size we wouldn't receive the same level of service as 11 chickens in a trenchcoat pretending to be a fully grown adult. Just like when I thought that the moon was actually the underside of the sun, I was wrong. We were treated wonderfully, attended to by professional staff with nothing to lose and with hearts of bold. The food was almost perfect the desserts leaving something to the imagination and was served promptly and without piles of paperclips intermittently strewn throughout which is always a bonus. All in all a great meal, with professional and friendly staff. I did see a customer sneeze into his hand then eat chicken wings but that can hardly be helped.
We love this one. The food is delicious, with some very good veggie and vegan variations on the classics. Service is very good, nothing is too much trouble without being obsequious. The coffee is perfect, and our breakfast sausage butties we're a treat; very tasty, quality sausages.
Automatic is immaculate, very well cleaned in-between customers. Maintenance of Covid cleaning evidenced throughout. Staff extremely helpful, polite and helpful nothing is too much for them. If you visit frequent enough they remember you by name. The menu is varied, something for everyone, elegantly served; price is value for money and the servings are generous... if you order the workers lunch, you will be served and in and out within the hour which is great for not getting in trouble with your boss! English breakfast served on Saturday Highly recommend
Love Automatic. We visit often, and have had breakfast, lunch and evening meals there. Most recently we booked a table for mother's Day, and once again we were able to enjoy a meal without other diner's children disturbing the entire restaurant. The food is always hot, generous sized portions and tasty. Highly recommend the Automatic Fried Chicken with sweet potato fries. Good drinks list, cocktails are very good. Their spin on an espresso Martini is delicious. Service is always good without being obtrusive.
Great to be back, service fab and wonderful food, all in a covid secure setting.
Nice place and nice food didn't book but they got us a table
Lovely place for Food and drink I do recommend the fish and chips it was lovely. The staff where brilliant and we will be back again.
