Aura Hair Salon

Booked in last minute to get my hair coloured and absolutely loved the result. Lovely wee friendly salon with affordable prices. Will definitely be returning! Thanks girls xxx

I was a regular at this salon until my most recent visit. Whilst getting my hair cut, the stylist knocked my glasses off her station and then stepped on them breaking them beyond repair. She was apologetic, but still, my glasses that are integral for me to see were broken. I couldn't see the end result of my haircut and was still charged the full price for it. (I needed assistance home/to cross the road because I could not see.) No manager was at the salon so called I the next business day to speak with one, but the person I spoke with was very suspicious and only after a lot of pressing was given the name of the manager. I also had to post to Facebook to try and get more information. I called again when I was instructed to, but again no manager was in. Finally after leaving my name and number did a manager finally call me back. And she was neither friendly nor willing to resolve my issue... I was not only blamed for my glasses being broken, but accused of knocking them off myself and causing their breakage. I challenged the manager; when one gets their haircut they tend not to move, but the manager was still defensive and blamed it on me. Finally it was agreed she would talk to her stylist and call me back to "verify" my story, but after almost a week I have not heard anything. It is shocking and I can't imagine what would happen or how a customer would be treated if an actual hair styling mistake was made. Customers beware.
