A wonderful exhibition called Japan a lovely story showcases landscape photographs from Michael Kenna. All prints are in black and white which adds to the drama of his images. Entry is free and Asia house is located in New Cavendish St which is a short walk from Oxford Circus.
We organised our Getting Published Day for my business 'The Writing Coach' at Asia House and had a superb experience of the event for the second year in a row. We used the Library Room and the adjacent studio. The atmosphere was superb, the rooms stunning and everything ran extremely smoothly. Everyone said how delicious the food was - and it worked so well having the studio room for food too. As a result of the excellent venue and staff, we were able just to relax and enjoy our event which was an extremely memorable one. Highly recommended.
A very nice venue in central London, super close to Oxford Street. I attended a screening named 'Traces of the Soul' which was part of Converging Paths 2020. It was a great film and then there was a well organised Q&A section. The welcoming was very friendly and there was a small room where you can enjoy a drink before the screening. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The interior design was very nice and the building is very well maintained and clean. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the overbooking of the event. Even if there ware several seats available in the room, the staff was adding extra chairs even when the screening had began.
At first this place sounds upscale from the area and the name but it’s really not Went for the exhibition of Stesuko ono Yoko Ono’s sister The exhibition is real Japanese style dark side Sadly, the way the art who exposed was really bad : Boards on the floor ... No real organization in the showcase The artist was there which was a good thing and she was very approachable
Beautiful rooms combined with an incredibly welcoming and helpful team. Nothing is ever a problem which makes for a very relaxed event. Thank you!
It is a very good place to organize parties confidences, symposiums, wine tastings etc. Staff is a very welcome and helpful.
Very unprofessional staff & management corruption. The receptionist I spoke to over the phone was not capable to reply to a business query nor to direct it internally to the appropriate person. Their careers site is never updated because to work with them is by connection only. Their branches out of the U.K. work very differently and don’t overcharge for venue hire as they do in London. Avoid like plague.
We host a 3 day event at Asia House 4 times a year and they never fail to amaze us. It is easy to get to as so central. The staff is very attentive and provide a fantastic service! The food is exquisite. I won’t mention the event rooms as they speak for themselves!
This is a great venue for smaller weddings right in the heart of Marylebone. We had our wedding here and the team was very helpful and supportive ahead of our special day.
What amazing staff, food and service. Highly recommended for events and presentations. A gem in the west end.
