I took my kids to Mimi’s Space Adventure and we had a brilliant day. There were loads of interactive activities for the kids as well as story telling and arts and crafts. They even laid on drinks and snacks! The personal highlight for me was holding a piece of a meteorite that at 4.5 billion years old, was OLDER THAN THE EARTH!
Lovely venue for a conference, very friendly staff and nice food from catering. Not sure if the catering was in house though. Good facilities throughout nice and clean and modern.
This place is a professional physics institute. There is a nice place for conferences and presentations
As a student of physics I cannot recommend this place enough.
I have been to some if there public lectures and have not been disappointed. Always a warm welcome and abundant refreshments. The lecture theatre has ac and comfortable seating. I would probably fall asleep but for the engaging speakers. Well worth a visit. If you found this review helpful please hit the like button
Wonderful new headquarters and conference facilities opened in October at the bottom of the Caledonian Road near King's Cross. Working spaces and rooms available to the public and members. Many interesting architectural features with a physics theme. Great views from the top of the building over the roofscapes of north London.
Excellent event. Lovely venue. Very well organised
Home to UK's professional body and learned society for physics with excellent family programs for making physics accessible to young people.
I'm a physicist and fellow of the institute on its council. The building the new home of the institute and is impressive. The indoors environmental control is not yet quite what it should be ... ! Physics which is what the institute is all about is of course behind pretty much everything we value in our lives these days!
It was a special open day with lots of science. Experiments and activities for children. Really fascinating event all free including drinks and snacks. Will definitely go back there as the adults learned loads as well.
