New triage system is a  bloody farce and waste of resources.  You phone receptionist  before 3.30pm because the receptionist only deal with life threatening emergencies after  then!  Describe your symptoms to receptionist who then relays the information to a Doctor who then phones you back  to decide if you  even get an appointment.   It's not a hospital or a battlefield where triage is necessary and done in person not  remotely by phone , its a GP practice and  EVERY patient should be able to phone and make an appointment to  see a Doctor .  The time the doctors spend talking with reception staff and calling you back takes time which would be better spent actually seeing their patients.   Worse practice  ever  tried to change my doctor but you can't  register elsewhere as most practices have catchment areas  so residents in Blackburn  have to put up with an appalling GP practice   Only got 1 star because it won't let you post  without giving it a rating

Had to wait 50 minutes for my appointment! Not even an explanation as to why running so late. I’m sure if we turned up 5 minutes late we wouldn’t be taken.

New triage system is great for making sure priority patients are seen first like it would be in a hospital. Staff always polite and friendly even though they are stressed and over worked. Website is a great addition for ordering prescriptions online.

This place is a joke. Phone for an appointment on hold for 10 minutes. Get through and get told they have a new system in place where I have to tell them what's wrong with me and they will then phone me back with an appointment whenever they feel like it. So basically they get to decide who is more worthy of seeing a doctor. I phoned this morning and still no call back. Today is my only day off work, I work full time and long shifts, I have stuff to do and I'm having to sit around and wait till someone decides to phone me back with an appointment that for all I know could be in 20 minutes or in 20 days. It's a joke. Been with this practice for 2 years and still never got to see a doctor. And why does a receptionist have to be told what is wrong with me. What happened to doctor patient confidentiality?! They do not need to know my health problems and they are not qualified to decide whether it's worth seeing a doctor today or in a weeks time.

Receptionists dont have manners and treat like they own NHS. The worse sugary in the scotland.
