Livingston st John's hospital upstairs coffe shop restaurant. On 2 floor much better than coffee shop on ground floor
I came to the hospital with symptoms of fainting, seizures, vision disturbances, and dizziness. I was discharged with a medication meant to help with ear issues for just one week, with the dizziness supposedly “resetting” afterward. Is this a joke?nnAfter spending seven hours in A&E, waiting alone in a room for doctors who couldn’t diagnose my condition, without even being offered an EEG or MRI, I felt completely exhausted. Not just physically, but also from seeing two doctors who, as it seemed, wanted to get rid of me as quickly as possible.nnThey were unable to help me, and I left feeling frustrated and unsupported. If a hospital, which exists to help people, cannot provide proper care, where is one supposed to turn? I am deeply disappointed.
Kristy and Vikki are truly the best midwives on earth! Their care, support, and kindness made such a huge difference during the delivery. We are so grateful for everything they did.nA big thank you also to all the amazing midwives in Ward 11 and the Special Care Baby Unit — every single one of them was incredible. Their dedication, patience, and compassion made us feel safe and cared for throughout.n5 stars without a doubt!
My husband has been in st John's since 14 March. I wish i could give 2 separate reviews. Itu staff definitely deserve 5* I cannot fault them, all the nurses are lovely and when I phone give me lots of information true accounts. He has since been transferred to mau, mhdu ward 25 and then ward 18. All you get from those nurses is he's OK!!! However when I see him, it's a different story. They are late in giving medication. They can't even put on a bandage properly!!! He eventually took his off and used the plastic aprons to cover his skin graft, which is infected!! Because a nurse who had just came on shift, couldn't be arsed changing it, even though it was showing some of his skin graft and catching on some skin!!! Apparently it was fine!! Wtaf!!! Why work in a caring environment if you can't be arsed and have a far from caring attitude. I wish I knew her name. I'd name and shame her, although unfortunately it's not just 1 nurse!!! Stay clear of ward 18!!!! Oh and he told me they were going to discharge a wee old man who was clearly struggling to breath. They were telling him an ambulance was going to take him home. HE COULDN'T EVEN SIT UP!!! thankfully his family came to see him and kicked up a storm. He almost died. How the F do these people pass the interviews?? Nurses don't care anymore!!! If they do it's rare!!! Iv been visiting St John's for 4 weeks now and apart from ITU it's just a case of it's just a job. Even the attitudes of nurses. Iv had a few 'who are you'!!! attitudes disgusting and disrespectful.
Great staff, very attentive and caring. Had day surgery last Friday and everything was so well organised and very professional. I was made at ease at a very stressful time. Cannot thank the staff enough especially the young lady who looked after me pre and post op. Thanks
