Popped in to get an Easter prezzie, shelves were empty but staff asked me if they could help and went and found me the product out of the stores. Very helpful and very much appreciated. Bart was the guy who helped me but excellent and friendly customer service. Thanks Bart!
Recent visit to this store for few bits..bought some gluten free asda own lemon slices. Out of date! I recently visited Bridgewater asda and had same issue. Only this time I paid then realised so went to customer services to be faced by a grumpy woman who gave me a refund and said they were short staffed. Really?...so how come the other gluten free items were in date? She didn't even apologise. Clearly whoever stocks this aisle has left them there because you have to many in stock and happy to rip customers off? Remove out of date foods that are months out of date and put in a reduced section so it's then upto customers if they wish to purchase them at a reasonable cost. Not left on the shelf at full price! It's more of an issue that months out of date could make a special dietary requirement person very ill to consume. As for being short staffed..im sure plenty of local people would be happy to have a job checking dates to avoid this issue.
Popped in to my local Asda the other day and I couldn’t find what I wanted. I approached a member of staff. Jackie Smith. Who was so helpful and took me to the product I was after. She also asked if there was anything else she could do for me. Very pleasant helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend seeking her out for help if you’re ever in there : 10 out of 10
A good all round store. Plenty of choice and priced reasonably. A good little cafe for a snack or coffee. Toilets cleaned on a regular basis. Lots of parking and money back in store off your shopping bill if you spend over £10.
I have to say on this occasion two of the staff that had yellow coats on which said " we are here to help "should have we are not here to help.I had a query, and had to run to get their attention, and when I said excuse me the girl turned around and gave me such a filthy look, as if to say what do you want! Anyway the young lad took the item that I wanted to see how much it was, and I had to really walk fast to keep up with him to find out. Obviously we were taking their time up! Asda what has happened to your staff! You have a hand full that are really nice , but the rest have no customer care. This is the Newton abbot Branch .-I will send the information but not sure how to get it to you as there is no way of replying on here .
I popped in here for a quick lunch when extremely hungry. I spent over £80 grabbing household bits I needed. Got a parking ticket! I will never spend one penny of my money at any Asda ever again! I earn decent money so you’ve shot yourselves in the foot. Disgraceful company and customer service and I’m not quiet in my opinions. I will now make it a personal endeavour to make sure as many people as possible avoid this horrendous, greedy, money grabbing, intimidating shop. Completely disgusted and won’t be happy until they have ceased trading in the UK. To make matters worse I then receive a reply from a manager saying ‘most’ stores offer 1 hour free parking I have never stayed in any supermarket longer than an hour and certainly not this one. Also no option to reply to the reply. Insulting! Goodbye disgusting company!
My partner and I camped nearby in August and dropped in to buy some food, spent £90. We have since received a £140 collections notice after not recieving a PCN from the parasites parking eye. I've never been to an Asda where I needed to pay to park, and there is obviously not sufficient signs to make everyone aware of it, going by these reviews. This is very poor from Asda. We won't be visiting any Asda going forward. Any company that teams up with parking eye shows their level of contempt for customers.
Another great ASDA store Can find practically anything I want here and prices are not bad. However does need a second door or a glass wall to separate the cafe from the entrance, doors don’t get chance to close with so many customers and there is a cold draft in the cafe area. Served by an absolutely great till operatior today called Leroy; funny, friendly and definitely deserves a gold star!
Why dont Asda open more tills, ! I was in on wednesday and there was a que of 12 people for just 1 till open , not good enough Asda, not everybody wants to use self checkout or use a scanner, penty of staff just standing about not doing much, come on get a grip
Don't go here often as wrong side of town for me. Was pleasantly surprised at the sale goods, unbelievably cheap.
