The ticket barriers have moved to a new glass shelter outside the old brick built ticket office. You walk to the right of the brick building now to go through the barriers. A number 12 bus stop is directly outside to connect you to the car showrooms and hospital almost on Newton Road outside Torquay in Shiphay
As alwaysnGood friendly helpful staffnPA keeps public well informed when a train brakes down, delayed or “more trains than usual needing repairs for a second time” their words, not mine.nAlso there is a postbox on the platform
Very nicely renovated with a smart new Ticket Barrier entrance and new signage. The whole station feels more modern, compared to the old somewhat run down one.
Does what it says on the label, nice staff and good facilities.
Great station for Interchange, and a nice town in Devon
