Made an order online but the main item and the reason I made the order in the first place wasn't available. Wasn't able to then cancel the order on the app so I called the number provided and was told the order would be cancelled. I then went out but the order was delivered anyway, received by my housemate who didn't know the oder was supposed to be canceled. I call the number again to find out why my cancelled order was delivered anyway to be told a manager would call me the next day to sort out my refund. I received no call so tried to get a refund on the app but was then sent an email to say my refund request was denied. This is all extremely bad customer service! I usually get my nearest supermarket to deliver but they had no delivery slots available so thought I would try Asda but never again. If Asda became the only supermarket available I would rather starve or go live in the woods and forage for berries.
Excellent service. Kind and friendly delivery drivers. Good price for how much food I order. Will defiantly be doing all my shopping at Asda from now on.
Very nice to shop today mobility scooter available and easy to steer round the store. At checkouts very good helped through the barriers.
Another great ASDA store Can find practically anything I want here and prices are not bad. However does need a second door or a glass wall to separate the cafe from the entrance, doors don’t get chance to close with so many customers and there is a cold draft in the cafe area. Served by an absolutely great till operatior today called Leroy; funny, friendly and definitely deserves a gold star!
Not enough staff on tills. Ques going all the way up 4 Iles but yet staff stood round talking and not serving. Self check out is not what people want we want more staff on tills.
Asda are always first to sell new products. Homeware good value. You can buy almost anything you need in a shop in the centre of Newton Abbot. Much better than driving to an expensive out of town supermarket. Staff trying their best in very difficult circumstances
I am disabled came in this morning and asked if I could have assistance with my shopping. The woman I asked was very rude turn around and said no we don’t have the staff but actual supermarkets are meant to be there with disabled users that uses wheelchairs they should be there to help. Never use them again and I will be going to try to standards because it’s discrimination against disabled
The most disgustingly awful toilets I have ever used. Made me physically sick going in there. The smell was noxious and I have a feeling I left with some form of vanerial disease
I really do have to compliment Asda Newton Abbot on the quality of their fresh green vegetables. Fresh, clean, value for money and great to eat. A massive 10 out of 10 for selling Cornish produce! I will be back!!
Added an ANPR camera to the car park. We had to queue for 20 minutes just to pay for it because only one machine was working. We were only in the shop for 5 mins grabbing a couple of bits. Absolute joke. Also contact solution bottles are now half the size and double the price. That’s a 4x increase!!!! Appauling!!!
