Book a taxi from the airport with another firm and they pass the job to these clowns. Get the rudest driver on the planet, refuses to open windows as the van stinks, tell him I’m choking and he turns around and refuses to drive my family. If you want smelly, smokey, over-priced and rude drivers, you’rek in the right place. Lovely. Avoid at all cost.Service: Limousines
Edit. Took nearly 3 weeks, but my refund has just come through. Submitting the form to request a refund wasn’t the easiest. Requires a log in via a contact us page, but worth persevering. I had booked a taxi for an airport transfer for October. Plans have changed and I needed to cancel. First of all finding how to request a refund is hidden. It requires you to create an account in a help centre hidden within contact us. I requested my refund 5 days ago. So will update my star rating when / if I get a refund. Reading lots of reviews on this company it seems unlikely as people seem to have had their ‘we’re on it’ automated response. But not had a refund. I hope to be pleasantly surprised!
Car broke down carverly lane needed oil. On call soon as i give the location and the esso location just few min up the road was instantly told they had no cars in the area. Make point that she didnt tell me this when i givve her my location for pick up. But only after the location short trip to esso and back. Told me call back in 15mins, i said can i book in advance to be told no call back in 15mins. Customer service of this lady with indian accent is really poor would not reccomend calling if broke down n need oil for car short trip. Kindly kirk
If using at Leeds Bradford please note even if you have prepaid you have to go book your cab at the desk once you land. We were given an estimate of 20 minutes wait time when it was actually 60. Would have preferred better management of expectations and I was surprised they had no vehicles waiting on a Monday afternoon when multiple flights were landing.
Avoid at all costs!! They charge utterly atrociously expensive rates - £55 from Leeds/Bradford Airport to Knaresborough - a distance of 12.4miles at 9.30pm. Not exactly late!. Only two months ago the exact same journey cost approximately £35. A company that is clearly taking "advantage" of the cost of living crisis we are all suffering from. I suspect at such rates Arrow Cars aren't suffering too greatly. What is as bad is that when I asked for an explanation for the hugely inflated rates, two weeks later, I am still awaiting a response to my email. Call an Uber or ANY other company rather than this company!
ABSOLUTELY SHAMBOLIC. Taxi booked nearly 24 hours in advance for an early morning train. Rang three times to chase and was finally told, "I've put out lots of messages but no drivers are responding." Not good enough when my train is due to leave less than 30 minutes later! Inevitably I will be asked to provide a booking reference for "investigation" but of course I received only a verbal confirmation from the call centre operative and no text confirmation at all despite my details already being on the system. Do yourself a favour, don't bother with this company.
Felt truly ripped off. Booked and pre paid for a taxi for 2355. Received text at saying taxi due at 2357. Was outside at 0001 and had to chase taxi down the road which waited at the bottom of the road. Driver said the booking had been cancelled and I would have to rebook. A farce of an experience rebooking and had to pay online a higher fare before the same driver would let me into his taxi at 0010. Have paid for the same journey twice and with no confidence that I will receive a refund. A scam company that does not deserve to succeed. Avoid them.
Reliable with an easy way to pay Arrived on time. I was heading to the airport and last thing anyone wants is the taxi turning up late, so it’s always good when they turn up as booked. Easy way to pay and text messages confirming the booking, but also when the driver has arrived
Pre booked a taxi to take us home from Leeds fest at 11:55pm. We were concerned as the arrow car that took us to Leeds fest that morning had expressed his own concerns that we would not be collected that evening… we called Arrow at midnight to be told our car is 25 mins away. We called again at 1am we didn’t want to annoy them & be bumped down / left stranded… This time we were told by the phone operator that we are going to be left there all night & should arrange another way to get home and that there’s 15 jobs ahead of us. HOW does a professional taxi company overbook themselves so badly? We then spent another hour trying to phone everyone we know who drives to try get home. Absolutely appalling service. I truly believe Arrow had no intention to come pick us up from the start.
Not recommended. They are not honest. Operators and drivers are making promises and taxi is always late. Mine was prebooked7.15 arrived 7.50. I heard driver was talking to operator to remind that other passenger is waiting ages for pick up and operator didn't know. Can't see booking on app. Never ever more. Use uber!Service: Limousines
