I travelled from Leeds Bradford Airport on 25/03/26 and was genuinely impressed with the whole experience.nSecurity was quick and easy to get through, which made a great start to the journey. The terminal was clean and well laid out. While the shops are a little limited, it didn’t impact the experience—after all, you’re there to travel, not shop all day.nThe new Tap & Brew bar area is a great addition—modern, open plan, and with views of the planes. I was flying to Malaga from Gate 7, which was directly opposite the bar, so everything was very convenient.nOn my return, the process was just as smooth. The new layout works really well—security is only a short walk from the entrance, staff were friendly and helpful, and it was a straightforward route through to baggage reclaim. From there, it was quick and easy to reach the shuttle bus for long stay parking.nOverall, I couldn’t fault the experience. It was also noticeably cheaper than flying from East Midlands Airport, which is a big plus.nA 5-star experience—credit to all the staff involved. I’ll definitely be choosing Leeds Bradford Airport again in the future.
Well it's an airport, short stay car park is walkable, mid stay quite a lot further but when the works are finished should be better, long stay you definitely need the shuttle bus, inside there's always a queue for checking in and security but once inside the new terminal is nice and spacious with food and drinks
We booked 10 days at the long stay car park it is very efficiently run and the bus drivers are polite and friendly. The airport itself is under a massive refurbishment so it can be a little confusing to navigate but all in all it’s no great deal but of course give yourself plenty of time. The one hour free parking was a pleasant surprise as we used it to do the night before our flight to drop off our luggage.
£8 to drop off and pick up, maybe its just me but when i go to the barriers to pay it cant see my reg so have to press the intercom button to help me pay. Never flown from there but picking up/drop off is easy, you can pretty much wait ouside front door compared to man airport :. only gets 3 stars though because of the location. liverpool is best if you can.
Nice, small airport, but I’ve been to even smaller ones. Clean waiting area as well as the bathrooms. Friendly staff at the security check. A few cafes in here, Burger King as well. Nothing more and nothing less than I need to before a flight.
