Thankyou very much to all of the team at Macklin motors Dunfermline and in particular our salesman Duncan Edwards for his professionalism in assisting my son purchase his new car. From visiting the website and finding a suitable car, to our first viewing, then test drive and finally the purchase, the whole experience was made very easy and in a relaxed, no pressure atmosphere throughout. My sons purchase options were explained in detail, the trade in deal he was offered was very favourable and the completion of the sale was a very smooth process. I was very impressed with the process which compares very favourably with other local dealers and national companies we have dealt with in the past and I would have no hesitation in purchasing another vehicle from this branch.

Excellent service when purchased a nearly new car in December, but there was a problem with drivers door, still waiting on door being fixed, part costs £22 plus vat, so it can't be cost. Have chased twice, still waiting.

Once again Macklin Motors Dunfermline have provided me with an excellent service and experience. I went through their Sales Executive Colin Kyle, and he provided an honest, transparent, consultative and first rate service to myself as a customer when I purchased a new car. I would recommend Macklin Motors and Colin Kyle highly to anyone thinking of buying a new or used car. 5 stars!

Booked a test drive for a Ford Kuga here. We were evaluating a few different compact SUVs and the Kuga was one of them. We got introduced to a "senior" salesman for the test drive. From the get-go he didn't seem very in to it, but it was a Sunday so I understood he probably wasn't ecstatic about having to work. The test drive was pretty awful. I had to repeatedly ask questions to get any sort of meaningful chatter out of him. He mostly sat there and looked out the window without talking. When I did ask questions, the tone of his voice was condescending. For example I asked what the differences are between the Kuga and the EcoSport, and he sounded as though that was a really stupid question (which is might have been, but I don't know Ford models very well). When we got back to the dealership he hopped out, got us a Kuga brochure and gave us his card, and then wrapped it all up. We wanted more time to look around the inside but he seemed hasty to have it over with. I don't know if it's because we're young and he assumed we couldn't afford a new car, or if he was just having a bad day, but we left the dealership telling ourselves that if we were going to buy the Kuga, it would not be from them. The front desk staff were nice though, hence the 2 star review.
