Very nice atmosphere in the pub itself and friendly service, but the ladies toilets were a disgrace, blocked up very badly and I'll spare the description after this, and the taps at the sinks were all incredibly low pressure. When mentioned to the "manager" she said that they aware of it" so clearly they're not bothered to improve
Nice atmosphere, good music selection by the DJ! However, bar staff could serve slightly quicker and in a friendlier manner. It was very warm inside due to no or very little air-conditioning. Doors to the outside area needed to be shut due to residents in the area.
Large impressive local bar catering to both young and old. Enjoy great bar food here ; good place to watch a match, even better place to visit after a match! The Ardhu is only a short walk from both Thomond Park home of Munster Rugby and the Gaelic Grounds. Very nice outside seating area also. There's usually live bands here at weekends too. All in all a great "local"!
Went with some work friends for drinks and finger food before Munster v Connacht Rugby game. Excellent atmosphere and a huge amount of food was served to us.
My family and I had lunch there today. Unfortunately 2 of the staff were the rudest we have ever met. When we asked for a kids or half portion of one of their main meals on the menu, one of the male staff members responded with: "no, were the 5 options on the kids menu not enough. If I give it to you, then everyone will want it"!!! Then another staff member came over and asked my husband "was he having a bad day"!!! Needless to say we will never ever go back to this place again.
Was my local pub for many years. With the Ardhu bar and the Munster bar theres somewhere for everyone. And the heated smoking area is great and something not a lot of pubs have.
Pints are very good here and there is a bit of atmosphere for big sporting occasions. Always a crowd for Hurling games and Rugby games when the respective teams are playing locally.
Great relaxing bar..there for a surprise birthday party..food was great..staff were excellent and great band also. Very enjoyable night.
Nice relaxing bar with lots of nooks to sit in. Reasonable food and pleasant staff in a good location. Lots of easily accessible parking.
Great place for food and drink. Much bigger inside than it looks outside there are a few bars in there and a very large area outside.
