Fantastic atmosphere & delicious food! One of the best veggie burgers I had in Ireland & my mom’s meaty burger was cooked perfectly too. And Beamish on tap! Definitely go here if you’re in Limerick!
A legend of a place in Limerick! Nice old world warm atmosphere inside and rockin vibes outside with most age groups. The one place you can find a real fireplace on a cold day. Just wish the loos were better managed as sometimes young ones leaving beer glasses in there including the sink !, would suggest putting signs up to prevent an accident. The old brunch menu is missed.
Bar was fantastic, the atmosphere, music, drinks, I really liked, it was my first time. One security guard ruined all mood, really didn’t like when he rudely pushed me, even tho I wasn’t drunk, I didn’t do anything, i was standing and sitting in one spot all the time, and then he comes.. like what the…
Extremely friendly staff. Perfect Irish pub atmosphere.
Went to watch rugby match. Great set up and enjoyed the few beers. Only negative was the temperature. Freezing inside and outside
I had such a lovely evening, the best bar/pub in Limerick. Kim and Leah are two amazing bar staff who understand what all customers needs, very pleasant staff overall ,very clean and tidy. I love the cosy front bar and the outback bar which is more modern. Thanks to All
I would not recommend this place to anyone. I have been living in Limerick for two years now, I have always entered this place without any problem, I used to like it until after spending my summer in Spain and coming back the first weekend in Limerick, me and my friends went to Nancy's. When I tried to get in place, one of the bouncers, the short guy, says I can't come in because apparently I threw a glass at a girl the week before. I explained to him that he was getting confused, that it wasn't me because it was my first weekend in Limerick after my return from Spain, besides I'm not the kind of person who throws glasses at people, he wouldn't listen to me and got aggressive. My friends also tried to explain it to him, I offered to show him my tickets or the pictures from Spain and he just said that I was not going to enter never. I was very upset, not only because of the bad treatment but also because of the unfairness of the situation. I didn't try to get in again, until last weekend, when we decided to go back as I was sure he had realized his mistake. The other bouncers let me in, but when I was inside the venue, I met this man again, who pushed me with all the people there and told me that I couldn't be there and took me to the door throwing my drink down my shirt due to his pushes and feeling humiliated and helpless, he didn't want to talk or listen to my explanations or those of my friends. As I left, I couldn't stop crying because of the unfairness of the situation, even the people outside the venue were outraged by the man's treatment. It was a horrible situation and the bouncer was aggressive. I could not recommend this place to anyone when one person like him can ruin your night so much. Avoid this place, discrimination at its worst in this country.
Friendly staff, professional security, regular live music, football games shown on TV, nice local people and many visitors from neighbouring towns, this pub is a great place to meet up after work during the week and a great place to go out on a weekend night. Some say it reminds them of Galway, check it out you won't regret !
The bar staff are professional. The security staff run a good door, there was a wide range of age groups it's a relaxing and peaceful place.
Always a pleasure visiting this pub. Pints are fantastic. Guinness is always creamy and the pub it's self is kept clean and tidy. Staff are also very friendly.
