Attached to the Limerick City Hotel, this is a really nice pub and restaurant. Chatted with an amiable Ukrainian whilst enjoying a nice Rebel Red from Franciscan Well yep, even Cork had some good stuff to offer! tj
ive been there 3 times in 2 weeks, the wings are amazing and the chowder was delicious. massive bowl aswell. The service was fast and the staff are very witty and polite. i would definitely recommend this place everything was perfect.. the restaurant is beautiful.. and i have to say Christy the barman is a very pleasant guy. great staff all round. Parking: getting into the car park was kinda tricky tbh..
Very nice irish restaurant, great atmosphere, friendly, quick and serviceminded staff. The fish’n’chips was very tasty and a large portion i recommend a visit to McGettigans if you are in the limerick area.
Been coming here years , and can literally not say not one bad thing about the place , the Guinness is like pure milk and also absolutely beautiful food EVERY SINGLE TIME ,compliments to the chef! and the service is always top notch , credit to Steven the barman and Mr.Mike the Barman , top class service as always, HIGHLY RECOMMEND ,WE WILL BE BACK ! 10/10
I thoroughly enjoyed staying in the limerick city hotel and eating in McGettigan's. We had the two courses for €21 each, the starters were amazing complete meal on there own and the mains of fish and chips plus the burger were very good. I will admit to waddling out of there needing to walk off a food coma. The staff were very attentive, plenty of them, friendly and very good at there jobs. Makes such a difference to be served by someone that is genuinely smiling and wanting to be there. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to stay in limerick and enjoy the city.
Went here for a mother's day lunch, the service was very slow, the food was alright but some of it was cold when it came out and took about 15 minutes to bring it back to the table after heating it up again. I could understand it taking a while if it was busy but it was very quite in there.
Very nice, cozy place. Great food, great staff, everyone loved it!
Table service could have been a little faster. However 5 stars earned, food was amazing, beer was cold and the live music was top notch.
Great-sized venue for drinks, food as well as performances and small events. The staff were so efficient and friendly, even if they were busy they didn't keep us waiting for long for our drinks.
Stayed in the hotel next to it and I came down to thi place to eat. Staff were great and friendly Food was great and the drinks was good nice and cold
