Just popped in for breakfast which was very tasty. very busy nice astomspere and friendly staff.
Called for Breakfast on a wet and windy Tuesday morning. Ordered the full irish with all the trimmings while the other half had coffee. Service very prompt and the Breakfast was lovely just about finished it. We even got a top up of coffee. Top notch will be back.
I couldn't recommend this place enough. Great selection of beer and whiskey! Was in there at a quiet time and was lucky enough to meet Michael and Liam! Had a lovely history chat with them about the bar and it was a pleasure to meet them both and learn about the bar & the family. If I had more time in limerick I could have stayed all day to listen to them and taste everything in the bar !
When you first walk in, it doesn’t seem very large. But take a stroll, and you’ll find several spacious areas within. There’s a HUGE upstairs area that is partly covered and partly outside, so smoking is allowed up there. I was there on a Sunday evening, so it was VERY dead. There literally was only one other customer in there, and he arrived after I did, so we all got the full attention of the bartender. That’s a plus I guess. They have the usual Irish beers and a full bar. It was just surprisingly dead - even for a Sunday evening.
Warm, cosy authentic Irish pub showing all sports on different screens. Food looks delicious
Unfortunately we had one of the worst experience on a day we were expecting to and receive a great service, Hurling Finals! we were given a table in front of a broken TV there was a huge black line going through it, please see picture attached and once I asked the manager to please change the table to one that we had already spotted and was inside the premises, he refused as he said that it was the place where people would go to smoke even though you can't smoke inside very disappointing experience would not recommend it.
A nice cosy bar. Staff very helpful and even stoked the fire when we were talking about how cold we were going inside
Great location. This is a very rustic irish pub. The owners were rather restrained when entering the pub. This changed after a few Guinness and there was a very good and sometimes very funny entertainment.
Myself and my daughter was recommended this place, and we were not disappointed, staff were very friendly and the all day breakfast was lovely, will be back again
Great place for a pint and good food
